Aarsh Kandra

Aarsh Kandra is an architect and the founder and principal of Aakaar. He leads the studio’s design work and the way it is delivered: buildings designed with their information from the start, coordinated in one model, and documented with tools the studio builds for itself.

Aakaar began as an architectural design practice. As its projects grew, digital tools became part of how the studio designs, coordinates and delivers architecture, and today it works across architecture, BIM, computational design and automation.

Aakaar Tools come out of that practice. Aarsh designs them to remove the small, repetitive problems that slow architectural teams down: cleaning consultant CAD for Revit, turning SketchUp models into classified BIM, and preparing drawing sets.
