Terms of Use
These terms apply to the use of aakaar.studio, its free tools and the Digital Publisher. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Last updated 6 November 2026.
About the site
Aakaar is a digital architecture studio in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The site shows our work and writing and offers free online tools for architects, students, BIM teams and builders.
The free tools
The tools are provided free of charge and “as is”. We try to make them accurate and useful, but we do not promise that they are error-free or that they suit your purpose. You are responsible for checking the results and for how you use them.
Calculators and estimates are not professional advice
The calculators give estimates for early design, planning and learning, such as areas, quantities, ratios, thermal values, shadows, fees and water yields. Building rules, standards, material properties and fees differ between places and change over time. The results are not a substitute for a survey, an engineer’s design, a code-compliance check, a quantity surveyor’s estimate or advice from a licensed professional. Always check results against the rules and documents that apply to your project before you rely on them for design, tender, construction, approval or payment.
Your files
Most tools process your files in your own browser and do not upload them. The Digital Publisher is different: it stores the PDFs you publish, as explained in the privacy policy. You keep the rights to your files. Keep your own copies, because we cannot promise that a processed file is free of errors. Check an output file before you issue or send it.
Digital Publisher and content you publish
- You must have the right to publish everything in the files you upload, including drawings, photographs, renders and text, and you are responsible for it.
- Do not publish anything that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, is confidential without permission, or is harmful, misleading or abusive.
- Public and unlisted publications can be read by anyone who has the link.
- We may remove a publication or an account that breaks these terms, or after a valid complaint. You can report a publication from its page, or write to us.
- You can delete your publications and your account at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: do not try to break or overload it, to access accounts or data that are not yours, to send spam through the contact form, or to use automated tools to copy the site at a scale that affects other people.
Our content
The text, design, illustrations and code of the site belong to Aakaar or its licensors, except for third-party components that carry their own licences. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with credit. Please ask before you copy more.

To the extent allowed by law, Aakaar is not liable for any loss or damage that arises from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the tools, including loss caused by reliance on a calculation or by a faulty output file. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
